Shortcuts
Build Tunna actions, share resources, and import them safely.
Updated
Shortcuts and sharing help you reuse Tunna actions and move setup pieces between devices. A shortcut can change connection status, select a node, change the default route, pause or resume rules, or build an import link.
Choose the kind of shortcut
The chip near the top chooses Shortcut or Share mode. Shortcut builds command links. Share builds import links only when importable resources exist.
Connection action
Connect, disconnect, or toggle the tunnel.
Good fit You want a one-tap home screen or Siri action.
Not ideal The selected node is not stable yet.
Outbound action
Choose a specific node before another action runs.
Good fit You switch between work, travel, and provider nodes.
Not ideal The node may be removed by subscription updates.
Routing action
Change Default Route or pause and resume selected rules.
Good fit You need quick Proxy, Freedom, or troubleshooting modes.
Not ideal You are not sure what the action will change.
Share link
Move nodes, rules, or subscriptions to another Tunna device.
Good fit You want the receiving device to review Resources before importing.
Not ideal The link contains secrets you would not share as a password.
Shortcut builder controls
Card preview
Shows the Siri shortcut or share link from the current constructor. Tap it to add the Siri shortcut in shortcut mode, or to open the system share action in share/import mode.
Constructor
Tap or drag available chips into the constructor to add them. Drag them back to the available area, or tap a chip in the constructor, to remove it.
Shortcut
Builds command links for Connect, Disconnect, Toggle, outbound selection, routing tags, and rule pause or resume actions.
Share
Builds import links for selected nodes, rules, and one subscription when those resources exist.
QR Code
Shows the generated command or import link as a QR code when the link is not empty, not just the default address, and small enough to fit.
Builder output depends on available pieces
Shortcut mode needs valid command chips before a useful command link appears. Share mode needs importable nodes, rules, or one subscription. QR Code appears only when the generated link is not empty, is not just the default address, and is small enough to fit.
A shortcut must be ready before it is useful
Command readiness depends on the chips in the constructor. Outbound commands need proxy-capable outbounds. Share mode can use only importable resources, and subscription sharing is constrained to one selected subscription at a time.
What Resources lets you review
Imports open a Resources sheet before anything is saved. Import stays unavailable while required rule assets or subscription nodes are still fetching.
Selectable items
Use the checkmarks to choose what enters Tunna.
Node
Shows node name, protocol, transport, security, and duplicate status.
Rule
Shows rule name, outbound target, attribute count, asset fetch state, and duplicate status.
Subscription
Shows source URL, fetch state, fetched nodes, duplicate status, and expandable node details.
Import controls
Cancel leaves your setup unchanged. Import saves only the selected resources.
Routing
When an import includes a different routing tag, Resources shows a routing selector before import.
Duplicate
Duplicate items are marked so you can avoid importing the same resource again.
Pending fetch
Rules with remote assets and subscriptions may need network fetches before Import is available.
Replace Rules is a strong action
Replace Rules appears only when a share link includes selected rules. On import, it selects duplicate rules, pauses existing rules, removes matching duplicate rules, and inserts the selected imported rules at the top. Leave it off when you only want to add new rules.
Command links can change Tunna immediately
A command can connect, disconnect, toggle the tunnel, select an outbound, change routing, or pause and resume rules. Share command links only when the action is intentional.
