Reset

Use Network Extension and user-data reset tools carefully.

Updated

Reset is a Misc recovery page, not a normal setup page. Use the smallest reset that matches the problem. Reset User Data cannot be undone.

Danger Zone controls

Reset Network Extension

Rebuilds the Apple system VPN entry. It is disabled when Tunna has no Network Extension entry yet. The confirmation alert has Reset and Cancel.

Reset User Data

Opens a full-screen sheet with reset toggles for Routing, Inbound, Outbound, Log, Sniffing, Policy, Protocol, Tunnel, Assets, Subscriptions, and Observability.

Reset

The sheet toolbar Reset button is disabled until at least one toggle is selected. It resets only the selected areas.

Reset All

Destructive footer button that returns Tunna app data to a new-install shape and closes the sheet.

Cancel

Closes the options sheet without resetting selected user data.

Reset User Data options

Traffic plan

These toggles affect how Tunna chooses and reaches destinations.

Routing, Inbound, Outbound

Routing resets the route plan. Inbound resets the local tunnel entry point. Outbound removes saved nodes and restores built-in direct, block, and DNS entries.

Assets and Subscriptions

Assets removes GeoSite and GeoIP records. Subscriptions removes provider profiles and subscription nodes.

Settings pages

These toggles return individual settings areas to defaults.

Log, Sniffing, Policy, Protocol

Use these when one advanced settings page is likely responsible and nodes or rules should stay in place.

Tunnel and Observability

Tunnel resets lifecycle, trusted networks, routing toggles, and IPv6. Observability clears health-check history, usage and latency records, and returns probe settings to defaults.

There are two Network Extension reset paths

A Power long-press can reinitialize the Network Extension only while the visible control is stuck connecting or disconnecting and accepts the gesture. Reset Network Extension on this page is the deliberate settings path, and it is disabled until a system VPN entry exists.

Selected app settings cannot be restored

The Danger Zone footer means exactly that. Export or share important nodes, rules, and subscription details before resetting broad areas.
